One of the main factors when it comes to becoming Vegan is the courage to make it through each day. It sounds very hard, and it can be. You have to have the right mental setup to be successful with a new diet of this caliber.
Probably like you, I do work the long hours and I have little or no time to even think about my diet. When I grew up my mother made me the very best food, and made nice 15 lbs plates of food. She did nothing wrong, she did the very best she could and knew how. I love her for that!
How we all learn to eat is wrong! Everyone you meet out in public if you told them you don’t eat meat of any kind, or dairy… would probably freak out on you. There is so many misconceptions and myths out there. I became Vegan out of necessity to live a better life. Learning about what happens with the body when it consumes meat and dairy products it the main key. Your body can take in veggies all day long in massive quantities until your stomach is full, and you feel great. When you eat cow or chicken products, you can consume the equal amount in calories that you would in meat, and not have the full feeling. Your body then needs to process that food. What do you think your body would prefer? Solid Animal Fat? or Green high energy vegetables.
In my blog I will take you through the thought process and the steps that made me lose 45 lbs and have energy all day without any sugar or caffeine.
